23 February 1998 : MAHA (Migrants Against HIV/AIDS) has finally and defnitively moved to Paris. Here’s how to get in touch with us now :
MAHA
Migrants contre le sida
70 r de la Fraternité
93170 Bagnolet
France
Phone : +33 1 42 41 07 70
Fax : +33 1 40 18 18 61
All correspondence, including subscriptions, should go straight to this address. If you’ve had problems getting in touch with us or with receiving, we apologize. Having one unique address should take care of most of these problems.
After its suspension due to problems with the HIVNET-CH mailing list software, the MAHA Weekly mailing list which brings you this message should be revived in a few weeks, thanks to help from MAHA webmaster Krishna at POS+NET. Krishna has also set up a mirror site for MAHA (reachable through http://www.posnet.co.uk).
MAHA’s French-language radio show, produced locally in Paris since April 1997, is now available on MAHA’s web site. A selection of reports and interviews from 1997 have already been posted. In the coming months, we hope to post the full broadcasts of our radio show on every Sunday morning (the show is Saturday). Thanks go out to Habib for hosting the show.
Finally, MAHA’s working on new issues of the print newsletter in collaboration with other grassroots AIDS, immigrant, and anti-deportation organizations we’ve hooked up with in the last 2 years. We’ll announce plans on MAHA’s mailing list as they firm up.
